At Trent Stairlifts, we understand that having a stairlift installed is about more than convenience — it’s about maintaining independence and continuing to enjoy the home you love. That’s why ensuring your stairlift runs smoothly, safely, and without disruption is just as important to us as the installation itself.

We provide comprehensive aftercare and ongoing support to give you complete peace of mind. From routine servicing to prompt repairs, our experienced engineers are on hand to keep your stairlift performing at its best. All of our engineers are fully qualified and bring over 17 years of hands-on experience in maintaining, repairing, and servicing stairlifts of all types. With Trent Stairlifts, you can be confident that your stairlift is in safe, knowledgeable hands long after installation.

We’ve Got You Covered

Product Warranty

All of our stairlifts come with a minimum one year warranty included in the price, regardless of whether they are new or reconditioned. Some even come with longer.

The warranty starts from the day of installation and covers call-outs, labour and parts. You can find out the warranty terms on specific stairlifts by visiting the reconditioned stairlifts or new stairlifts product pages.

Service Plans & Aftercare

We also offer service plans which give you full breakdown cover beyond your included product warranty, alongside this your stair lift also gets a full annual service.

This added service plan is not compulsory, just an optional extra to provide peace of mind.

If you are renting a stairlift from us then the warranty is continuous throughout the hire period and includes: call out fee’s, labour, parts and batteries (exclusions apply, see terms and conditions below).

Warranty / Service Plan Terms and Conditions

All warranty / service plan cover, standard or extended, excludes any damage caused by misuse, negligence or any other reason out of our control such as: fire, theft, water damage. Breakdown due to human error, for example switching the stairlift off, is also not included.

Annual Service

We recommend all stairlifts undergo an annual service to ensure they continue to be in safe working order. We can service straight or curved, new or reconditioned stairlifts.

A standard service takes around 30-40 minutes and we can get most appointments booked in within the week.

Standard Repair

We offer a reliable call-out and repair service. We ensure our engineers arrive to all jobs fully equipped with a wide variety of spare parts, so the majority of repairs can be completed there and then.

If parts are required to repair your stairlift, we will discuss any extra costs with you before carrying out the work.
